Postby cotton » Thu Sep 20, 2007 1:57 pm

This is Carreygirls original post

Jim Carrey again calls for people to support the world's only imprisoned Nobel Peace Prize recipient Aung San Suu Kyi. He decries Burma's military regime for recruiting more child soldiers than any other country in the world, destroying 3,000 villages in eastern Burma, and forcing 1.5 million refugees to flee.

Who knew Jim was such a political activist?

He is certainly not the man we all thought we knew. He obviously feels very strongly about this issue and needs our attention.

Good for you, Jim. It's refreshing to see a celebrity speak honestly about a subject he cares deeply about.
The truth shall set you free.

Actually, is it just me, or is he reading the words of the camera like news reporters do? ..... I dont know why but I could just see his eyes moving while talking so I was wondering if they hired him to say it and it's not of his own beliefs. But then again Jim wouldn't do that... I guess.

Oh..

Maybe it has become a common thing to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. Whatever is happening in Burma, I think it's their own business and no one - especially Mr James Eugene Carrey - has the right to do that.

What was that?? Was it a self-advertisement? Was it like, oh my last movies are shitty, so let's make people not forget about me.

Oh you know, Jim, there are so many countries with issues, so all the people from JCO can make a list for you and you can appeal for their solvation...

..great dissappointment, Jim.. your bad.. don't like you..
I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us...very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad...
