I'm just glad they didn't sign on a no-name director. Michel Gondry should fit this movie good. Be interesting to see how it will look when he's done since it's a high budget movie rather than a low budget one.

WOW! Ummm, just WOW! Actually, I don't know what to think. Sure, Gondry is a good director (but het only is, when the script is very good) but he couldn't be more different then Burton ... ... I thought Tim Burton was the right person to bring this world alive ... I just don't see something like that coming to life in the hands of Gondry. It will come alive with him, but the question is ... how? With creatures made of paper? Worlds in papier-maché? This movie asks for a whole other handling.

I'm curious how this will turn out.

 WoWwwwwwwww!!! Great!!!!
Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color, choosing your socks by their character makes no sense, and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable!

That's funny -- just the other night I was watching the extras on the ESOTSM DVD, and I thought Michel would be a great choice to direct "Ripley's". Hope it happens!! :)
