Holy f*cking sh*t!
It's just like in Liar Liar, except for it being funny.
I'll say it again, he looks like Jack Torrence in this movie!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

No Jack Nicholson was good looking in The Shining, but he didn't feel as much attractive when he slammed that axe into the door!
I was right about the close-up and the notes! It really shows Walter's madness, the eyes too!
Dark, simple and with a cashable face, great promotional poster!

I'm sorry, I think it's kinda dissapointing. It looks lika a very typical poster for a cheap thriller. Nothing original to see here. In fact, it makes me laugh a bit and that's wrong, very wrong. The pen is black, the goddamn pen is black!
But nice to see a poster finally. To end with a positive note.

Expect? Nothing, realy. But one can hope. Not this actually. This is what I thought they would do.
Am I a bad person now? Lol. Just because I love Carrey and his work, doesn't mean all the things they make 'round him are great, right?

I understand, people have their opinions. I was just wondering what kind of poster you were looking for, to me this fits the whole movie very well.

i agree with you, being a fan of someone doesn't mean you have to worship everything that perosn does/says/wears etc. You can still be a fan even if you don't like a particular something about that celebrity.
Getting back to the original topic thought...honestly, i thought they are going to do something with that ending from the trailer, with half of his face and the title and everything so this came as a surprise. I really find it interesting and man, i'd love to see Jim without all that make up on him he seems to be looking pretty yummy all together, especially the open lips, a recognised sign for sensuality well, sensuality shouldn't come with this poster one might say, but considering the scenes i've scenes with him and that significant other in the movie...sensuality might find its place on this poster after all!

well i disagree.. .........i think the poster ROCKS!!!......and it's because they HAVE NOT gone for the typical thriller poster, with bog standard shots from the movie. This is about conveying the sense of atmosphere and mood and most of all the Depth Jim brings to it......
Looking like a psycho is someything totally new for Jim, and folk will look at the poster and say 'hey is THAT Jim Carrey??????'........wow!!...
There's the shock element and the interest it's gonna draw.........
It's perfect!
