Jim attended charity event

Despite his run of bad luck recently, Jim still had time for some charity work.

The Irvine based 'Free Wheelchair Mission' held a fundraiser on July 25th at Turnip Rose in Costa Mesa. The night was dedicated to raising money to provide wheelchairs in developing countries and was made even more memorable by the quiet and unassuming appearance of Jim, accompanied by Jenny. The event raised $1 million and included an "anonymous" donation of $200,000, which coincided with Jims departure. The night raised enough to provide 21,000 wheelchairs.

He has a big heart....but I don't know if you could call his luck bad lately.

Not doing certain things frees you up to do even better ones sometimes.....I haven't worked in almost five years and it's been the best thing to happen to me ever.

Now I have to figure out how to support myself without having steady employment, and the ideas are flowing....!

Besides, in the mean time I have nothing BUT spare time to read about Jim here.

The bad luck refers to Ripleys and Used Guys.....things he was really powerless over..........and i agree totally, as one door shuts another opens....maybe time to develop other ideas will be good for him..

Re your work Sharon the future might be in that car.........then Jim would be helping you out.........and how cool would that be?!

Jim is so loving and giving. He has such a kind and pure heart.
It is so nice that he helped all of those people get wheelchairs.
