 yeah...my cousin is sixteen and he's always like,
"Adam Sandler is so cool!" Nobody can compare with Jim Carrey,
especially Adam Sandler...the two couldn't even compete.
IMO, Jim is the best there is in everything he does, he always
has been and always will be.

No one compares to Jim especially Adam Sandler

Postby emilystagg » Tue Oct 03, 2006 10:36 pm

How are they even in the same league, I have only seen one good Adam Sandler film, "The Wedding Singer" the rest are awful. With Jim, I cannot think of one I have not enjoyed. There are some that I enjoy more than others, but all of his films are of an excellent quality. Plus he can atually act well!

Jim fan from the age of 8

Postby emilystagg » Tue Oct 03, 2006 11:10 pm

I was 8 years old when I first saw Ace and the Mask and fell in love with them, since then I have loved Jim Carrey. All his movies have been good, the comedies and the dramas. He is so talented! I never got to see Ace and other of his earlier films in cinema as I was only 4. Wish I could see them on the big screen now.

I was sneaky; I watched "The Mask" when I was four years old
(although my mom didn't approve) and I have loved Jim Carrey
ever since then. I became obsessed with Jim when I was ten years old
after watching "Dr. Seuss:' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" in
cinemas. I've loved him since I was three years old though...a long
time.

:shock:Scary! I felt the exact same way after seeing Jim in
the Grinch. It is one of my favorite movies! I became obessed
with the Grinch after seeing it in cinemas. I bought Grinch
ornaments, T-shirts, stationary, stickers, anything with the Grinch.
I really respect Jim for his role as the Grinch. Nobody could have
done it better than Jim! I love Christmas!

Christmas in my opinion is the best time of year, I love it. My family and I go to loads of old fashioned christmas strret fairs. I love them. I also repect him for that role, I remember reading loads of articles about how he struggled wearing the large contact lenses, that in itself must have been difficult. Didn't he look great as the grinch. I would love to give him a hug, he wasn't mean or scary really!

Yeah, he really did look good as the Grinch. :D
I wear contacts, and sometimes when they get dirty
it hurts so bad that I can't keep my eyes open. Jim
really suffered with the contacts that he wore for that
role. I never get tired of that movie and I know
I've watched it nearly a hundred times!

Every year I look forward to christmas just to watch the Grinch. It is one of the best christmas movies of all time. I also love Miracle on 34th street. I would hate to wear contacts, I would never be able to put them in! I am glad I don't have to!

 You're so lucky you don't have to wear contacts.
I'm nearly blind without them though; I've ran into walls
several times.

 Yeah, unfortunately I bruised myself up kinda bad, but
the worst was probably one time when I dropped something
and I reached down to get it, I gashed my head really bad
on the sharp corner of my table. I felt like cursing that stupid
table even though it was my fault for refusing to wear my glasses.
I always looked like a geek wearing glasses, so I stopped wearing
them for about a month before wearing contacts.
You're so nice to even care if I hurt myself.
Most of my friends just laughed.
