Hey All,

I just read the script for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and I have to say.... "WOW"... great script. This movie is going to be great! And this is a great vehicle for Jim, its the role he's been waiting for. I predict Oscar nomination... seriously.

FavaBeans.

I actually have a copy of the script, but I'm trying to decide if I want to read it now or wait until after the movie comes out. I think I'll enjoy the film more if I don't know whats going to happen.

I thought the same thing.

This was actually the first script I've ever read and after reading it I was glad i did.

Its a great story!! Awesome. Just beautiful.

I read it because I became impatient. I heard so much about it, I had to read it for myself.

The script won't ruin the movie experience. The script is basically just the dialouge. There is so much to this movie, and because most of the movie is inside the main character's mind (I hope that wasn't a spoiler), you can only imagine the images and how the film will actually accomplish some of the visuals.

So, if you want to know about the characters and their interactivity between eachother, then read the script. But by all means, if you want to experience this movie fresh, then stay away from the script, even though its an amazing read!

I found the ESOTSM script online. I heard that the film studio is trying to force all of the websites to remove the script from their sites.

I found the link for it on the "Being Charlie Kaufman" website.

Edited by: CinnamonGirl at: 3/8/03 8:40:34 pm

yes, that is true. The producers asked every site that had a link to the script to take it down.

I guess I got lucky, the site where i read the script is still working. So, if anyone wants to read it, and believe me its a good read, and you'll find out why kate Winslet's hair is sometimes blue and sometimes orange. So, here is the link, enter at your own risk:

www.eshay.com/menuitems/s...ssMind.txt

Cheers,

FavaBeans.
