UK needs talk shows

Postby trishroberts » Fri Jan 13, 2006 1:46 pm

Why o why do we not have a talk show airing now when we really need one !!!! No Jonathon Ross on Friday, No Parky, no one who can host a show who can bring out the best in Jim and any other celebs who we might like to see interviewed on evening telly.

It crossed my mind that the latest series of 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' had finished too early and missed out on the release of FWDAJ. How depressing. That was/is a perfect forum for Jim.

I can live without Parky for sure.
If only they didn't go for such lowly stars....we could've had him on the 'Friday Night Project'.

Can I prime you with questions to ask on my behalf?
And can I be your assistant who brings on the fresh glass of water during the ad break?

Yep, I'll have them (erm, him) stripped, washed down with a damp towel and redressed before the floor manager says, "And we're back in five, four, three.....!" I'm a true professional for a true professional! :D

Johnny Vegas? Eighteen stone of idiot? Bring him on.......

Peter Kay is a comedy genius. I've never seen a man who made me laugh so much, and reflected so accurately, my childhood. When he played Blackpool Tower.....it was just a classic set.
