Hey Everyone,

I wanted to announce that I'm so looking forward for tonight because we get to see Jim Carrey at the Golden Globe Awards and it comes on at 8pm, I wonder if his hair's grown in more because the last time I saw Jim Carrey was before Christmas. I can't wait and I'm excited! How about you? Enjoy the Awards and Jim Carrey everyone!

Well, not much happened at the Golden Globes.

Jim did not win for Eternal Sunshine. Jamie Foxx won for "Ray".

Jim introduced the president of the Hollywood Foreign Press.

He was funny and entertaining of course, starting his speech with "Good evening human units".

The nominees for the Academy Awards® will be on the morning of January 25, 2005. The show is set to air on February 27, 2005.

Sad... but glad to know a fellow ILC member is doing pretty good. And nice to see that Jim was happy for him too.

ESOTSM still has a chance!

Damn! I went out to celebrate a friend's birthday tonight, I just got back. We made 6 PM dinner reservations and didn't leave the restaurant until 9:30. I guess everyone was out 'cause it's a 3 day weekend and we waited an hour & 1/2 before we were even seated. I got home just in time to see Jim's award and I fell somehow I cursed him (baseball theory). I taped the pre-show but forgot to tape the ACTUAL show. Damn! I know that Jim was MY favorite actor this year (I know I'm biased but it is really true). Jamie Foxx is good but he doesn't have longevity, Jim will continue to make good films. His day is not over

Well, at least Clive Owen won an award!

I just watched the E! Red Carpet Pre-Show and Jim wasn't even shown. He didn't talk to anyone and they never showed him in the crowd background. I know a lot of celebrities have been avoiding E! Channel because of the Celebrities Uncensored (It's a show where they show all the footage that paparazzi get by chasing celebrities). Did anyone see him on any other network pre-show or did he just not walk the carpet?

If you watch the beginning of the globes when they sing that song and show the celebrities walking down the red carpet you will notice the footage they show of Jim is old. Which probably means he skipped the red carpet and slipped in the back door just like The 5th Kind said. He did the same thing last year too.

I was looking to see where his table was last night.
There was one shot of him while he was sitting down, clapping and he was staring at the table like he was DEEP in thought.
There was another shot of him clapping for Clint Eastwood, but after that we turned it off.
He always looks sooo good.

Robin Williams also referred to Jim during his speech. He was talking about how great it was that the Globes acknowledge comedies and comedians. They showed Jim smiling and nodding at the comment.
