Oh me too! I'm going to see if I can find it on the satellite, but you never know!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Peter Appleton: I can't stand this constant nagging. I'm leaving you, Jerry. I'm leaving you -- and I'm taking the monkey with me.

I sort of posted a bit about it in the How Sweet thread in the Carrey Files bit, but since it just finished about 10 minutes ago, here's my review (you'll have to forgive this for being garbled, I'm still on a Jim high )

On the show, Jonathan Ross has a backstage camera crew in the green room, and as he was listing the night's guests and got to Jim, Jim got up and pulled a picture of Roger Moore off the wall to cover his face with, and Ross said something like 'I wish Roger Moore had been that lively when we'd had him on!' - and this was before Jim even got onstage to talk.

He got a really good reception from the audience when he came out, and although we all know he was there to talk about Bruce, Jonathan Ross' style of interviewing is really chatty and pally, so they talked about Jim's love life really briefly, and he said he's not with anyone right now. He started kidding about with Ross, saying he was going to go back home with him and his wife because he was really needy, and then said that he'd been all over europe recently, but when he got to Britain he couldn't even buy a sandwich as we don't accept Euros (heheh). He was going on about how everyone in Britain acted really scared of having their currency taken over by Europe, and was holding a Euro note up to the camera saying 'Im gonna show you something really terrifying now...look!' and generally acting silly and Jim-ish

He also told a little anecdote about being in Germany, saying that when he was there to promote Bruce, he'd leapt into a fountain and got soaked, as it was really hot, and a news camera crew started filming him for the news without realising who he was. He said they just thought he was some crazy guy that had done a stunt for a laugh. He also got out a big Bruce poster and was joking around admiring how hot he looked in it (it was the nekkid one in the clouds...mmm), as Jonathan Ross commented on how good he looked (damn right!).

At the end he got up with Ross to sing Wild Thing on karaoke (they did it cos it was the end of series show), and he was really good actually. He flipped over Ross' desk and chair and pretended to trash the place up, and then the other guests came out who had been on earlier, and all sang along as well. One of them is a comedian called Johnny Vegas, who I love as he is northern like me, and he shouted 'Lets fight the band!' so he and Jim ran over and pretended to beat the guys up who play the piano and do the intro music for the guests. Incidentally they were all wearing t-shirts with Jim's face on them (the band that is!) which made me laugh. They're all gay, and they are on the show every week doing the music and singing and they really loved our Jim. He went over to them and was standing with them staring at Jonathan Ross, as he asked what they did, and Ross explained, and he said something like 'All they do is stand over there and leer at you! Its like a zoo!' so he went over and joined them. He was really pleased as well, as Ross said that he'd loved The Cable Guy and In Living Color, and he said that someone else in the gren room earlier had said they really liked The Cable Guy too.

That's all I can remember for now guys, Im sorry! I hope it makes sense. I couldnt tape it either, as my mum was doing some film or something, grrrr!!! It's repeated at about 2am tomorrow though, so I'll do it then! I'm sure other people who saw it will add to this though, and remember the bits I've forgotten already!! Must have tape ready tomorrow.....

Hel x
'I don't have to take this abuse from you, I've got hundreds of people dying to abuse me.'
Bill Murray, Ghostbusters
