Will and Grace Cracking on Jim!!

Postby jimcarreyaddict » Fri Mar 29, 2002 5:47 am

I don't know if anyone else watched Will and Grace on 3/28, but Will was talking about how he couldnt stand how his mom was having an affair with his dad and his dad didnt know it! And he says "I can't stand it,...I can't stand it like Jim Carrey playing dramatic roles!..but ill just have to deal with it!" ...man that made me mad! No one has any good taste! I thought he did an excellent job in The Truman Show and The Majestic!! Oh well....like to see your comments!! thanks!
-Brian

Edited by: jimcarreyaddict at: 3/29/02 12:32:54 am

Will and Grace Cracking on Jim!!

Postby Guess Who » Fri Mar 29, 2002 6:22 am

Wow, I am shocked! I worked on that show once and I am very disappointed in the writers and the actors for not requesting a script change to that line!
It used to be and USED TO BE is the key phrase here, one of my favorite shows.

I nearly choked on my soda when I heard that last night. They were cracking on Michelle Kwan pretty hard too (Will -- "I'll be the saddest person on the cruise." Grace -- "No you won't" Will -- "That's right -- Michelle Kwan will be there".)

It just kinda goes with the territory of being a Jim fan. I tend to laugh it off (Hey -- we're Jim's fans -- you know we have a terrific sense of humor !! -- as well as great taste).

One of the Simpsons re-runs that was on last night had a Jim reference too. It was set in 2010, and college-age Lisa and her boyfriend were coming out of a Jim Carrey film festival (40 films -- ). They were saying to each other how wonderful it was to find someone else who could appreciate Jim's comic genius.

Edited by: CinnamonGirl at: 3/29/02 6:36:54 am

After waiting for the heat in the debacle to settle down a bit I've decided to post my two cents about this....

and that is...I COULD CARE LESS....I mean, who cares? Think Jim Cares? I doubt it. Why should we?

what about this?

Postby Nano75 » Tue Jun 11, 2002 6:42 pm

There's some insane guy at ebay who sells the original Grinch comic on video. In his description he says it's a hundred times better than the film version with Jim Carrey, the world's worst actor!
...in the sale description... must be very important to the guy if he puts it in there... idiot... thinking of sending him a threatening letter...

Nadine

It's a bit stupid of him... Cuz if there are some fans who would like to buy the "original" grinch video and that they log on ebay and read this, I don't think that they would buy it from that guy, I know I wouldn't!
-Who's your DADDY?-
