Jim Carrey: Chicken made me bowl bad

The 49-year-old actor has been busy promoting his latest movie Mr. Popper's Penguins, although took time out from his hectic schedule to enjoy a game of bowling.

Last Friday’s match was in honour of his business manager John Rigney’s birthday, although Jim failed to impress when rolling a pitiful 97 at New York’s Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge. The actor blamed his pre-game feast for his lack of bowling prowess, explaining that his hands were covered in fat.

"I had chicken grease all over my fingers, thus the 97," wrote Jim when he autographed a bowling pin for the venue.
