I've seen it 4 times so far in advanced screenings and can't wait until it is in theatre's again on Thursday! I think it will be embrased more here and in Europe, and not because American's are stupid! lol! I just think we're more open to new things. It's like when movies like Moulin Rouge open. That did amazing box office numbers here... but in the US it didn't do as well. It did well, but not AS well, you know what I mean?

I heard someone say as they left the cinema here that ESOTSM was the best film they'd ever seen. But I also heard another say they were confused out of their mind! So like in the US, not everyone will get it but hopefully a lot will.

Apparently the movie's simply a critical success, which is fine for us Carrey fans

However, by box office standards, it's dropping really fast. The theater that I'm working at only has one showing for ESOTSM at 10:00 pm and it frustrates a few of the people who do know about the movie (including me~! ).

Maybe Focus Features will re-release in a few months afterwards. Look what happened to Mystic River and Lost in Translation. Both movies did fairly well but gained alot more attention when it was re-released. Here's hoping~!
