no........we don't keep them as pets.......it's due to the traffic and a disappearing countryside......i only had Harry until he hit his release weight........as i was advised to by the UK hedgehog preservation society!

It's easy for us to go from Gas Leaks to Hedgehogs.
Yes, we do have some of the best wild forest(s)
I believe everyone, wherever they are ,should see their own backyard first and then visit others that are open to visitors.

I came out West for several reasons, one of them being, how can I
say I'm Canadian Jayne when I've never seen all of Canada, hopefully I'll eventually be able to get out to see the West Coast someday and also the East Coast. Sometimes I feel people visit exotic and beautiful places but should first see where they are and appreciate where they are, then if able, see others.

Out West alot of wide open spaces, I've seen alot of of wildlife,
my cousin showed me the other day many-many deer that came into
her back yard, it's all video taped, just amazing.

I love the Hedgehog, what's it's name: Looks like a Charlie or Charlotte
cutie thanks for the pics.

yeah Canada looks like one of the most beautiful countries on Earth.....you have amazing wildlife........and Canadians are famous here for their sense of humour and friendliness..... :D
It's no wonder so many folk emigrate there........it looks a glorious place..... :D
but i know what you mean about your own back yard........ :D ......i adore nature and try to take time to appreciate what we have here too........
i was so tickled to see a red squirrel last year........ :D and last week i lay in bed listening to owls hoot.............. :D
lol..........i'm easily pleased........

A few days ago I saw an owl perched on .....

someones roof, at first I thought it wasn't real because it was so stiff, then
there were three crows gathered around it and it moved it's head, I so wished I had a camera with me and I didn't, it was on my way to school.
It was in the morning, I figured most owls are hiding by then, the crows were squacking at this owl and there it was perched not going anywhere.
I thought it quite odd.

Absolutely beautiful in the summer and winter, you just have to
appreciate the snow, stay in when it's too cold and enjoy the outside when it's beautiful.
Sadly, I'm inside today because I have so much to do for school,
but I'll be outside soon.
