Trick or treating is basically just an extortion racket, the girls dress like ghoulish hookers and the blokes like something from a gory video game....Halloween has lost it's innocence and fun.....town was full of drunk zombies last night, whatever happened to creativity and fun......?.....roll on Xmas.....

Totally. Although I'm of the mind that people tend to ruin everything so... :|

I've always wanted to be in the US around Halloween for once. In Europe they try to launch the holiday for about 20 years now, for commercial reasons offcours. But it's just not really happening, cause it was never celebrated before and now it feels extremely forced how shops and marketers try to push this. Not working. I'd like it to become a real thing, but it's just not going to be the case. Heck, even the TV channels gave up on it, not one single scary movie shown ... Nowhere. Too bad. So, for one Halloween weekend, I want to be in the US. :)

I'm so over all the boring slasher flicks though......the writing is usually awful and the actors are usually just starting out so they're generally terrible....however, two of my favourite all time movies are considered to be horrors. The original Omen and The Night of the Hunter are stylish and intelligent and the actors were pure class......things usually missing from todays horrors.........slasher movies are cheap to make gore fests......yawn....lol
And sorry but i don't think it should be a holiday at all......, it's just a commercialised pile of nonsense......lol

Modern horror has totally lost it. No depth, characterisation or jeopardy. Just jump scares and shock value torture porn to turn your stomach over. Not clever and pretty messed up.

I love Halloween but then again I'm from Portugal and we have only started embracing Halloween in these last few years, so I have that excuse. :D

Thoroughly enjoyed Halloween this year
Watched grandkids get ready
Took hilarious video
Then gave out candy to trick or treaters
Pretty calm weather little chilly
But not too
Usually rains about this time of year
But it worked out well
