I'm laughing    I shouldn't, but I'm laughing
you're soooo funny
Just imagine it
Two people, sitting on the end of a pier
looking out into the water, sharing chocolates
One has a tattoo on the bum(you know the butt crack visual in D&D)
Talking about the upcoming D&DToo (kinda rhyms with R2D2)

There ya go, that's the start of the next D & D2 promo
Every month there's a new uptake on the scene
If it went with this month's theme
They'd be at the pier in a blizzard
I hear it's pretty stormy at the beach today

Since I have been a lifeguard for real

I probably would first yell over to the guys to come help
and to call 911

use a coat or a shirt for you to grab

I would hope a round guard tube with rope would be close by
or quickly find a pole for you to hang on to reel you in
or temporarily find a boat if there was one close by
Big problem with bad weather is hypothermia can set in really, really fast
and if none of that worked,
I'd go in to get ya, I can swim pretty well (Also depends on how lond the pier is)
but with that weather we'd probably end up both in an ambulance
not even seeing the two guys that save us
Dang it!
And that's the way life goes, sometimes

But lo and behold,
you open your fist and say
"I got it" before you pass out
revealing a really melted chocolate
while being wheeled away on the gurney
:D

I know I shouldn't laugh, but I am
I can just picture your end up in the air
floundering, thank goodness it wasn't deeper

Anyone who lives in Canada
should seriously think about learning
how to swim.
We border the Great Lakes,
the East and West Coast shores,
lots of rivers and lakes
miles and miles of them
Learning to swim is an investment
in the preservation of life for the just in case
situation.
I like the Boy Scout motto" Be Prepared"

Glad to hear you are eating more healthily
That's very important
Swimming is something that you have to
take time to learn, it can take years
I started really young, I don't remember not knowing how to swim
Learning later in life is very difficult
To learn it you have to start with the basics of breathing
"blowing bubbles first" and not panic when you go under at first
Loose the fear, it is the same as learning anything that
takes us out of our comfort zone, start small but
always go with a buddy, VIP
If you want to learn get instructed by someone you trust
and feel will help you learn
