CAN WE EAT MORE HEALTHILY DURING XMAS?

Postby Canadian Jayne » Fri Dec 06, 2013 6:06 pm

I recently came across
a side that is called

The American Parasite

it's quite interesting, has anyone else
watched this before?

I didn't watch the whole thing after about
six minutes in I became bored, up til then it
was very informative maybe ill watch the
rest another time
I did not realize that

"sugar is as addictive as cocaine"
that sounded pretty scary
but I won't cut out all sugar now
I don't eat that much refined sugar

I'd rather use Demerara sugar or dark brown for baking
I can eat a whole bowl of veggies and love it
especially love maple syrup mmmm gud
if I have a sweet tooth
I didn't realize how much sugar is added
to icecream so that is enlightening

Gud reasoning, Fluffy
We may need the extra pounds
to stay warmer this winter

I'd rather have salmon than turkey though
But if I have to eat turkey I'd rather have cranberry sauce with it

What would you rather have
on your Christmas menu?

Yes, I love potatoes
roasted
mmm gud
add a some onions, garlic, butter
Wonderful!
In U.S. they often serve sour cream
but that can add the calories on
myself, I sometimes have
Ranch dressing with them

Didn't mean to do all caps on this post
It just turned out that way
I now realize
It looks like I'm yelling this comment
Ooops, sorry
It's true,
we Canadians are always
apologizing for something
Hopefully though
Ill be more mindful on
my future posts
Sometimes gud food
