DUDE are you serious ??? But they put Jim like he is not one of the main characters in the trailer they said Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde with Alan Arkin and Jim Carrey like he is one of the unimportant actor in the movie but i gues he will be good (hope so)

There are some moments in there that are funny, mainly Steve Gray spending the night on red hot coal and Rance Holloway disappearing under the bed.

Other than that...eh, I mean the whole ramming a nail into the table is a classic movement we've seen Jim do before and it'll be hilarious for those who aren't as deeply interested in Jim as a whole. I feel like there needs to be more for me to say anything about Steve Carell. Right now...I'm not really sure what to think :?

However, it is really great to see both Jim and Steve working together again for the 3rd time :D

Yes, I am. :) And so is the buzz on the internet, lots of the same comments : "Where are the jokes? - Not that funny, despite the talent." And I have to agree. It's a bit funny, there are 3 jokes that made me smile a bit. This needs a stronger trailer, imo. But I LOVE the posters.

Jim is not the main character indeed. When I scroll around in some comments out there, people seem to think that's weird and it's not a good thing. I think that's because we are used to the fact Jim Carrey always plays the main character and most of his movies are built around him. I'm glad he thinks out of the box.

There are many great actors out there that are praised for supporting performances, because they are as much important as the leading role and the movie wouldn't work without them. What would 'Inglorious Basterds' be without Hans Lada (Christoph Waltz)? It took ages (matter of speaking) for Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman to get a big leading role, but they were praised and rewarded for almost every supporting part. Often they made the movie.

I think we can say Carrey has the good part in this way, you need someone who can lift up the main character by being memorable. He has the part where ha can let himself go, the part with the best position on a comedic level.

I'm sure his (supporting) part in Kick-Ass 2 will be the same case. Remember how everyone started to hate Nic Cage in the last two years (not me, btw) ... Suddenly people said he was outstanding as Big Daddy in the first Kick-Ass and forgot about everything else.
