Man on the moon Question

Postby abyss » Sat Jun 24, 2006 7:14 am

One thing about Man on the moon i never got and i dont know if this off topic because with the whole tony clifton and andy joke i couldn't figured out at the end if Kaufman was clifton when they show bob laughing at the end of the movie. I have heard of Clifton before but now u dont hear about him or dont see him at all does anybody understand what im sayin?

Andy Kaufmans brother michael and Bob Zmuda dress up as him sometimes to bring him back. I think that at the end of the film after Andy had died and Bob was in the audience it was Andys brother pretending to be Tony Clifton. They still do it to this day.

Would you believe it that Jim Carreys Birthday is the same as the man he played in the man on the moon movie Andy Kaufman. I share their birthday too.

hahaha....i didn't get it too....i thought he recovered from the sickness...well may be he did !!

the whole point is that he got us wondering...who is he? can he be the same??? i thought it was his friend till i saw him laughing at the end, sooooo it doesn't really matter if it was him or not....he got us wondering and looking in Andy Cauffman's life for answers, and that's the point of the movie ...

genius ending

I also have a question for Man On The Moon. Thats song that he sings at the end of the movie at the funeral, does anyone know what the name of the song is, or the words? :?
