Batman Forever

Postby jimliker » Sat Mar 18, 2006 1:37 pm

i read in a website. There was an article on Tommy Lee Jones where they wrote "Jones lore also includes director Joel Schumacher calling him a "bully" for the way he treated Jim Carrey on the set of Batman Forever"...... Does anybody knows what happened?

afraid not......but it just seems like that Tommy takes his work seriously and the way he acted w/ Jim doesn't surpirse me.......but i am sure Jim didn't take any offense to it and just thought of it as a learning experience.

Tommy expected to be the big star..........he was not prepared to be upstaged by a mere comedian.....he's a classical actor you know.....lol.....
Anyway, Jim blew Tommy off the screen and outstaged Val too......the critics universally panned the movie but universally praised Jim.......and Tommy was as sick as a parrot............lol....."ha ha!!.....(.said like Nelson)............Tommy knew he was miscast, he knew he was gonna look bad and he was trying to break Jims confidence so that Jim wouldn't do his best............but i reckon Jim's a stubborn bugger too.........when challenged i reckon it only makes him fight harder........so Tommy's plan kinda backfired............lol..........serves the git right!!

Yep, the words 'dummy', 'spat' and 'pram' spring to mind.
Jim was the only good thing about that film in my book.

Can you really know the depths of someone's motive like that? What if you've got it all wrong?

I'm not going to form a bad opinion of Tommy Lee Jones. He's a good actor.

doesn't mean he's a nice person.......several people (yes in interviews) have said he's an overblown diva............and frankly i think he sucks as an actor......lol....he was utterly crap in batman and totally miscast......lol......as we say here..'he's up his own arse'.......lol
