What do you girls and guys think of that???? I don´t know what to think about it , cause I never met him.. so please ..if you would read this <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> New York Daily News, July 6, 1999 Jim Carrey seems to be trapped in his new role as a state trooper with a split personality. The superstar was nice enough when he started filming "Me, Myself and Irene." Shooting in Jamestown, R.I., he delighted local kids with the gross-out question: "Who wants eye boogers?" But now that filming has moved to Richmond, Vt, townsfolk there are finding the goofball aloof. "Families came from 50 miles away just to get a glimpse of him," says Betsy Bott, who was not allowed in her Daily Bread restaurant when Carrey was shooting there. "The Star," as she calls Carrey, "wouldn't even wave to the kids." Carrey's co-star, Renee Zellweger, talked with locals "like a normal person," says Bott. Carrey? "He would walk out, get into his Cadillac sports-utility vehicle with black-tinted windows, and they would drive him to his trailer." Carrey's rep insists, "Jim has always been good about signing autographs and taking pictures with kids." While some in Richmond were thrilled to have Tinseltown's business, why did Carrey and his movie need such heavy security? One eyewitness says he saw a movie staffer threaten an old lady who snapped pictures of the cast: "He said, 'If you take another picture, I'm going to have to take your camera.'" Our observer then saw security people tell a 12-year-old girl to get off her own porch, even though she was a block from the cameras. When the girl refused, says the source, the guards asked two Vermont state troopers to act like Carrey's character and force her to move. A source says that a woman with a baby was barred from crossing the street to get to her own house, even though she pleaded, "But it's nap time! I've got to get her home!" Local shopkeepers also have had second thoughts about renting their main street to Hollywood. Asked about his unpleasant dealings with the movie production staff after his customers were blocked for a day, hardware-store owner Dan Noyes would say only, "I want to let it drop. It's time for me to back out." A spokeswoman for the movie — made by "There's Something About Mary" film makers Bobby and Peter Farrelly — said she was "not aware of the problem."

Those are probably tabloids and tabloids are the biggest piece of sh*t ever to me. Hunting people, sucking the personal life out of them, it's like the minute you become famous, you're some sort of feeling-less animal. And if this is ever true, well, what can we do? Jim can become sick of his popularity once in a while, he's only human! Andrea

I just thought of something that I saw in Pasadena actually, I noticed they were filming Bruce Almighty on a street there and this woman wanted to go home and she lived on this street. The guards wouldn't let her drive home, even when they weren't shooting, but the woman started yelling and screaming and drove onto the street and into their house, everyone was really pissed but she was sick of them filming on her street, so I believe this story cuz that's how it is when they film on location.
