I think it will be kind of like Lemony Snicket in the way that it will do really good on DVD...

Great promotion with Train Tour and lots of clips and with many talkshows and London premiere coming next week it really looks fantastic.

I predict: 8)

Opening weekend: $45 Million
US Total: $240 Million

"Disney's A Christmas Carol" has crossed $100 million at the box office after 23 days of release as of Saturday. It took in $16.0 million in its fourth weekend boosting the cume to $105.4.

Internationally "Disney's A Christmas Carol" grossed $20.4 million from 5,328 screens in 48 countries for a total of $90.8 million.

I hope it might still do well around Christmas since it was made about it though I doubt it will do well in most 3D cinemas because of James Cameron's Avatar!

I wonder if Disney might plan a limited rerelease just in time for Oscar season?

There is still a very long way for the movie to get profit to Disney. With the big budget ($200 million) and the marketing budget (around $150 million) and the Train Tour event across the country.
