These are the first pictures of a very camp-looking Carrey in character for his role in prison break comedy I Love You Phillip Morris.

Dressed in a tight black T-shirt, white jeans, a huge gold lion's head buckle on his belt, and a liberal helping of fake tan, comedy star Carrey is almost unrecognisable.

Carrey is seen here during filming getting to grips with actor Rodrigo Santoro, with his hand on his co-stars behind.

McGregor's character is freed from jail, while Carrey's character Steven Russell is sentenced to a total of 144 years behind bars after he tries to escape four times.

Last week actors McGregor and Jim Carrey reportedly visited a gay bar together in preparation for their roles.

The actors were spotted attending 'Martini Tuesday' at Miami's Halo bar.

A source said: "Jim and Ewan looked like they were having a great time. They were laughing and joking and looked as though they were really trying to get into character."

Whoops. I'm very dissapointed right now. :( I thought "Morris" was going to be a bit more of a realistic and original comedic look at this story. I never ever expected it was going to be something like this. The clothes, the moves, the dog, the brown skin ... I mean, c'mon! These stereotypes aren't funny anymore, it's so tired and feels like humor we saw 10 years ago. And Jim looks terrible like this! You would think he's 50 years old ...

I'm sorry for the negative vibe, but that is how I feel. Doens't make me a not-fan. ;)

I'm not judging in the way you put it. Hey, if you see these pics, it's not exactly looking like the realistic movie I was hoping for, isn't it? ;) Thát's my dissapointment. I was hoping for a movie without all those stereotypes in it and when I see these first pictures, what do we get? Indeed.

So am I judging the movie? Nope. I still has the chance to be one hell of a funny ride.

I expected the same approach than you, Grinchy Steve...

Well, I'm just thinking of that.... Maybe it's - erm - something like a dream sequence? In this "Dark Comedy", Big Jim is a married man? And all these colours and stereotypes just remind me that! It's just hypothetic!
