Would I dare to go for 35 Million? Ofcourse, as a European it's a bit harder to guess this when talking about Horton. Since Dr. Seuss is not exactly famous overhere, not at all. I remember nobody knew 'The Grinch' overhere before Jim Carrey played him. And I remember that movie did much better in the United States then it did here, because Seuss is a big thing overthere.

Good news. So they are assuming/predicting Sundays gross? Because Sunday isn't over yet.

Horton still at the top of the box-office!

In his second week Horton is still at first place at the American BoxOffice. The movie made $25,100,000 and that brings us at a total of $86,470,000. New entries Meet the Browns, Shutter, Drillbit Taylor and Under the Same Moon could not beat Horton.

A bigger drop than I thought. A 45% drop from last weekend!! Maybe so big because of easter. :?

But still a good second weekend. And Horton is now the biggest movie of the year after just 10 days... 8)

During Horton's opening week in Belgium, it couldn't beat 10.000 BC from it's first place. But despite some nice releases since then, Horton took the first place the week after that and is still there. So, yeah, people are liking it and spreading the word. Cause all the advertismants were in Dutch and people didn't even know who the original cast was.

All my friends realy liked it and I'm going (finally!) this afternoon. :)
