Here is the link..

"(...) Robert Ripley was also an early comer to television, with a show that ended with a fatal, on-camera heart attack in 1949. The television show went through two revivals, including one hosted by actor Jack Palance that ran from 1979 to 1984. Although no new shows are in production now, the company says actor Jim Carrey will star a feature film based on Robert Ripley's life that is tentatively scheduled for release in 2009. (...)"

Maybe it starts production at fall 2008 or begining 2009, for an Oscar Race december release. I hope it to come truth and with Burton attached. It seems a good film for both Carrey and Burton. Maybe it take to home our long awaited Carrey Oscar.. Fingers Crossed ;)

was on TV, when you go to the museum do you see some of his old clips?
I've been to the one in Niagara Falls but that was a few years ago, now they have more, I've learned something new today.
Thanks!

From an interview with Jim Carrey posted on ComingSoon.net:

Quote:
As far as the Tim Burton-directed Ripley's Believe It or Not!, he's not sure what's happening with that movie. "I don't know. I think its still in the works. It's maybe a little ways off. They are still talking about it," Carrey said.
