The Mask III - Yet again with NO Carrey??

In an interview with MTV, actor Marlon Wayans expressed interest in playing the lead role in the forthcoming 'Mask 3'.

"Jim Carrey did one, Jamie Kennedy did two, I would like to do three"

In a way, Wayans would be suited for the role with his style of comedy, although i would be more for a remake than a sequel (which could be as bad or worse than Son of the Mask).

I am hoping for a full reboot following closer to the comics than another sequel but if Wayans does sign on, they could have done worse.

Have your say... :mask:

Another direct to DVD. Let them do it if they can't think of other ideas.

That's kinda disturbing Glenn!

I guess I should pass on this film entirely!

They need to stop with the BAD Mask sequels...well just the one anyway :)

Hopefully, they will make a spin off series or reboot in the style of the comics!! I love the first movie, it's my all time favourite and Son of The Mask killed the hope of a decent sequel I HATE IT!

Pfsh, I wish them luck. No one can touch the first one, I'd like to see them try, AGAIN!

Oh great, another Jimless sequel. I just know this is not going to end well. I wasn't too keen on Son Of The Mask or Ace Ventura Jr. I loved the first Mask movie though, I also loved the cartoon. The first Mask was genius and one of Jim's best.

See? This kind of thing is why Jim avoids sequels with the exception of Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls.

Not that Evan Almighty was bad I actually kind of liked that one.

I never watch any of these sequels without Jim, it just wouldn't be the same. So this will be another one I miss. Oh and hiss at when I see the DVD's in store... even now
