You know, i'm perfectly fine with Jim not being in it. If the movie doesn't get made - that's fine with me too.

I really hope that's not true...BUT if it is, he will be great.
But I rather that not be true.

The link you posted is from August last year. I think it was that time the Farrelly Brothers said in an interview that Jim was no longer part of the movie. Since that time I haven't seen Jim talk about the movie, so I think he has been out for a long time now.
Most of the stories there have been since that time are just small sites or blogs referring to that interview. I will see an update from Variety or a site like that before I will believe he is back again.

I had a feeling that the whole movie would flop before it would even come to be filmed. I mean it would be awesome to see the 3 actors to play one of the few that introduce slapstick comedy, but I can't see Sean Penn playing Mo. I think everyone could see Jim as Curly or Shemp (maybe Larry)..but I just didn't see as Sean being a funny actor, he's more serious and realistic (not saying it's a bad thing).
Oh, well..we'll see what happens in the future...

i'm not sure if someone already said this, but when Jenny McCarthy was on TV talking about this role, she said he was gaining a lot of weight for this role. I wonder why he wouldnt be Curly anymore after he put on real weight just for this role and doesnt go through with it.

I too was looking forward to it, but now it kind of seems official that he's not going to be involved in it.
