YES!!!!!!!! Once in a while, my work gives away free passes to see movies before they come out....(some I've seen courtesy of them are Riding in Cars with Boys, hearts in Atlantis, Don't Say a Word) Now I got one for the Majestic on the 12th!!!!! I am seeing it on the 11th because I work at the movie theater and my theater is having a special screening Tuesday night. Word of advice people. Work at a movie theater! It's the coolest job! You get to see everything for free and before it comes out and you get all the popcorn and posters you want. I already got The Majestic one. I can't wait for Tuesday! That's odd. She should come work at my theater. That's the whole reason why I work there. Well, not only because of Jim but that is a big part of it. I do like movies in general. But I have heard from other people who use to work at theaters how they got posters and everything and since I always have such a hard time finding Jim posters I figured this would be an easy way. I really do love my job though. I enjoy when people come up and ask me to tell them info about the movies because I am totally into that. I know this is not like a lifetime career but Jim is totally right about doing something that you really like to do because right now I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Yeah, I asked my friend if she could get me a Majestic poster when they were getting rid of them in the future and she said she wasn't sure because the only way they let you have posters is if you win a contest or something you don't get them. I'm back! OMG! This movie was everything I hoped it would be and more! Jim is excellent of course. The movie is well written and Martin Landau is fantastic. I see a best supporting actor Oscar in his future. As for Jim well I hope to see that long awaited best actor Oscar as well. He was fantastic. His emotions were so real. He made me laugh and cry. It was just terrific. Laurie Holden was great to. I think she is going to go far in her career. She does remind me a lot of Lauren Holly but she is a much much much better actress. The whole cast was great! And that town was so cute! What a great setting. It makes me want to move to Ferndale. It looks so beautiful there. Well, I could go on all night about how great it was. I don't want to give anything away but it was a great story. Very well written and it really held your interest. I didn't read a lot of the spoilers so I was very unsure as to where it was going and kept thinking, "How's this going to end?". It was not a real predictable ending which was good. But I was pleased with the ending. Overall 4 stars just as good as I hoped it would be. I can't wait to see it again!<br>Terrific job Jim! You can do it all baby!<br><br>Melanie <p></p><i></i>

Thanks for the report Melanie. I can't wait to see this movie. I watched HBO's First Look special on The Majestic last night, and it managed to notch my excitement up even higher. Being a big Jim fan (duh !), I was really looking forward to this film. You can say that again J.T.! This movie was fantastic! I can't say that enough! I am going to be seeing it many times as well. It's pretty lengthy too which I was happy about. I always think his films are too short. It was about 2 and a half hours long but it was so good that I could have watched 3 hours. It didn't seem like two and a half hours at all. I was kinda sad when it ended becaue I had been looking forward to this for so long and now it's over.<br><br>I don't get HBO so I had my Aunt tape it for me.
