Oh, come on stop it!! It's not that bad I mean remember "Man on the Moon" that made only about 2 mil. for the first 4 days this is just happening because of those dumb critics but I have seen comments from the people on this movie from www.moviefone.com and www.ew.com and they love it, and as long as they like it I think that is pretty good!!

Yes, it's a fabulous movie and that's all that *really* matters. But if this film doesn't break even, it's certainly not going to help Jim any. If his most-publicized dramatic performance is considered a failure [financially], I think studios are going to think twice now before throwing money at him for another tear-jerker. Plus, the big thing about Jim is that he's been considered one of the few actors who can guarantee a big opening weekend... I see that slowly going down the toilet. I realize it's all in the ebb and flow of the business, but I just hope it doesn't damage Jim's luxury of doing whatever projects he feels like.

As I have been saying everywhere else on the boards....Since when did the critics really have good taste in movies? There are some movies that the critics love that I like too. But very rarely do I fully agree with their thoughts.

That is the problem with critics...they do not go to a movie to just sit and enjoy it like we do. They go to disect it and tear it apart to see if they like it or not.

So I have to just shrug my shoulders and say, "Hey! We all know Jim is good and that the movie was very well done. So a big "whatever" to the critics!!"

Love & Humor,

Marissa

"If you give up on your dreams, what's left?"-Jim Carrey

Click on the Jims Above To See My Website!!
