I thought Number 23 was great.....but I felt some awkwardness with it (maybe b/c its Jim's first thriller.) The ending was pretty suprising but I felt it could of been a bit longer. The movie just seem to go by too quick. But I guess thats what the unrated DVD is for. lol

I finally saw it yesterday.
As big JC-fan as I am, but I must say; I didn´t like it.
Jim did a very good job as an actor, but I didn´t like the movie.
Just like somebody already said earlier: whole movie was so messed up and confusing.
Maybe it would be better if you´re watching it twice.
But, this wasn´t brilliant, only just OK. Jim has done better.

I gotta say that it was really boring and difficult to follow the plot although I did get it, sorta, at the end.
I made literately myself watch it 'till the end.
Sadly I didn't care much for the movie and have already sold it on Amazon.com :/

Well the script was suss in bits........apart from that the cast did the best with the material they had been given. I for one enjoyed it.....but it needed 2 watches to see ALL the irony.......it's a pastiche of 50's thriller magazines in bits......

fluffy

I only just saw the movie this last sunday ( Oct. 7th), and I thought it was amazing!

Seeing Jim Carrey doing this role, which was so serious, so... I don't know, eerie at times? Especially the Fingerling parts, which I absolutely loved ( The tattoo *drools*... And he looks so hot! Anyways!)

I liked the plot, I liked the actors and they're acting! The colors are great and let me tell you, the song "Tear you apart" by She wants revenge, in the Fabrizia segment was really, really well chosen!

I like to see Jim doing serious roles like that, it's great to see another side of his "personnality", acting wise! Despite what the critics said, I think it was a great movie and I'm really thinking of buying it soon! :)

Well, finally I saw the full movie on dvd and it is great. I wanted to see Jim doing thriller movies and my wish was fulfilled. He looks awesome in this movie. His acting is as usual very brilliant. He has done another oscar worthy role though they dont even nominate him. Stupid people. :x
The cinematography and sceanries are excellent. As well as background music. I love Jim doing sexy role for the first time. He is sooooooo hottttt.
Despite of the bad reviews I really like this movie. :D

I like the behind the scenes and interviews also along with Deleted scenes. :D

I bought it yesterday and couldn't get all the way through it. I had to turn it off. It so bored the hell out of me. The critics were right with this one - it only got 8 percent positive reviews via rottentomatoes.

The last Jim Carrey movie I really liked was "Me, Myself and Irene." Everything else seemed to have gone downhill from there. Hopefully with "Phillip Morris" we'll be seeing Carrey's acting abilities in top form again.
