Jim Carrey is doing "The no. 23" as its confirmed. The shooting will start in Jan 2006.... 8)

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Oct. 17, 2005 - Jim Carrey is getting serious again.

In January Jim Carrey will start filming a thriller called "The Number 23." He plays a guy who reads an obscure book of the same name.
As he reads, he becomes convinced the book is based on his own life. His obsession with the number 23 starts to consume him. And, he realizes the book forecasts terrible things for him.

It looks promising!

I soooooooooooooooo hope that filming doesnt stop him coming over the pond to promote Dick and Jane. I love the idea of him being in a thriller but I was hoping to see him in the flesh, even if its just a glimse :cry:

I really really REALLY cant wait for THIS movie.It sounds sooo interesting!!! I think he really can be a great man in a thriller like that, I know I have said before that I couldn't see him in a thriller,but when I said that, I just thought that HE was going to play some sort of a wholesale (is that the right word?!) , but now it seems REALLY interesting! :D GO Jim! DONT LET THEM MURDERER YOU! :wink:

It sounds very like The Truman Show, but kinda different too. Can't wait to see it!

I think it can be good to see Jim Carrey in a movie where its not just komedy ....
In this movie it is some "thriller" to and I think its great...
I think it will be almost like the cable guy..
I dont mean JUST as it more like it will be a diffrent kind of Jim Carrey movie and thats why I love The cable guy so much and I really hope this one will be atleast as good as the cably guy ;)
