If you trim your fingernails and toenails and nose hairs that's 22 things.

Which is only 1 away from 23!!!

Hi everyone..
To answer the question (way back in the posts!) why 23 is Jim's favourite number, he was told about this mystical number by a friend years ago. The number has apparently been linked (most creepily) to a lot major world events, famous writers, politicians, films, human biology, music and bands, astrological phenomenon, lottery wins.... You name it!

If you are interested in seeing why this number is so important to Jim, there are a number of sites you can go to that list all of these apparent magical links. Google 'number 23'.

Personally, I'm not really convinced. It seems like a HUGE stretch of the imagination and some very 'creative' mathematics to find the number 23 in all these things. But I guess people see what they want see. ie. Ever wonder why, when you are looking to buy a particular thing, lets say a red coat, you then seem to notice so many people wearing red coats!? Same thing... Your mind only sees what it focus' on, and filters out the rest.

I'll see the movie, but thats about it.

Cheers,
LM

A saying I like is "Some things have to be believed to be seen".

How does one know one's lucky number?

Funnily enough, I went to see Frank Skinner on the 23rd November. Spooky!

Hmmm, a lucky number, I guess is one that seems to crop up and gives you luck, or just a number you like.
Mine is actually 13, seriously. Unlucky for some, but not me.

well in numerology my lucky number is 7............and i live in flat number 7 too.............lol...........and 7 is something to do with spirituality.....it's apparently a very important number too.........like 23...........

what you do is get the date of your birth......in my case-

25/12/69..........add all the single numbers together....for me it makes 25

then add those 2 numbers together- i get 7............

but since i was about 8 my lucky number has been 22.........although my friend pointed out that it should have been 23...........lol....i didn't include myself.........lol.......

This sounds like a very awsome movie and I'm so looking forward to seeing it once it's done filming, and what a coincidence I'm 23 too. Thanks for showing us the link.

Jen Carrey! :)

hi...for those interested in calculating your "number" or lifepath, you actually have to include the entire year...19xx, as well as your birthdate. you calculate all that down to single numbers and then add. So Fluffy, if your birthdate was 12/25/1969, your actual birthdate number would be 8. 3+7+7 = 17 = 8. Not that it matters, but what the heck! Happy counting and happy new year! :D

it must depend on what you have read......because 2+5+1+2+1+9+6+9=25.........which =2+5=7

that's the way i was shown how to do it..........................and as a kid i was always told it was 7...............
