How come the production costs topped $100M ?. I am no expert but its amazing to me that a film like this with no special affects, little set design, (when you compare it with Snickets) few extras (it was no Ben Hur) cost so much, I know Jim $20M is a big chunk but $100M that is alot of money. I know Jim uses a lot of film....but hey....I think Jim should get the accountants look over the books.

If someone can read someones palm, why cant someones

My theory is that when they were filming the movie, California was being drenched with rain, non-stop, for three months straight. I think they had to re-shoot a lot of scenes due to weather, delays because of rain and cast members getting sick. There is one scene in the movie when Jim is outside in the rain and it is pouring. That wasn't movie magic, that was mother nature.
