A burgeoning budget, the curse of the remake lurking and a star who's also a producer. Is it any wonder there is ...

Hmmm......yeah i've always said that there was something about this one that sat uneasily with Jim.............just a hunch.........hence the re-writes....
but as i've said to have the guts and determination to re-write so much of the movie deserves respect............
It shows just how much of a professional Jimmy is...........he's got guts allright......

repect!!..........

And he's right about comedy scenes having to be JUST right.

I saw the commercial last night, with him singing along to R Kelly's "I believe I can fly" in the elevator and had to laugh.

Sometimes bad movies happen to good people.

"What it comes down to at this point is, I've made a ton of money…. The only reason I want to keep going comes down to that person in the seat."

Awww I think he was speaking about me

And I'll bet 40 takes is an exaggeration, but I believe it COULD take that to get a scene right.---

I used to do TV commercial voice overs. One day the top salesperson needed a stat voice over for a commercial demo to show her client.

It was 50 seconds of wording in a 30 second spot.

It nearly killed me (I exaggerated, but you know what I mean). Our sound guy was great. He realized there was TOO MUCH vo, but we had to get it in the 30 second spot.

By the 15th take I was hyperventilating.

At the 25th I slid down the padded wall, put my head in my hands and said, "It can't be done."

My nickname was two takes....because that's usually how many I needed to cut a V O.

I'm sure we were up to the 30th take before I did it. And then he said, "You popped your p's." So I looked at him murderously and did it again. No p popping.

So, 30 takes...and that's JUST for audio!
