High Five to Jim

I realized I never let anyone know I had a sense of humor. I spent most of my life silently making jokes, too afraid to speak outloud. I lived a very unhappy exhistance, but I had a million jokes never spoken. Something about Jim Carrey gave me the power to enjoy my quirky sense of humor. I was tired of living my life in a straight jacket (metaphor), too afraid for people to see my wild side. What a relief! Jim Carrey was my hero! I found a safe place and there others here too!

Ditto.Ditto. I'm not wild...i just 'found my voice' because of him.
I keep it to myself the silent jokes and giggles...it's a fantastic feeling...wish I 'had' him when I was younger...lol

I've always been a cut-up.

I think I'm less of one, now.

I happen to love 'puns' or play on words, innuendo, and mental tet-a-tets (playful sparing/teasing); Its just hard to find a playmate!

well, i'm still kinda surprised at what i'm doing here.........but now i've discovered Jims work i'm absolutely stunned at the versatility and sheer talent of the man........He is grossly under-rated .....and he is exceptionally smart..........

Just being here has re-awakened my interest in the written word......and even if it's just for my own enjoyment i'm having a ball...............
and for all the kind comments about my babblings i will be eternally grateful......

plus without Jim there wouldn't be JCO and i wouldn't have 'met' such an awesome bunch of people............

believe me when i say i'm having a surreal and fantastic ride here....lol

you rock!!!.........lol.........

now GET POSTING!!!!!.............. .

That's an American phrase for someone who likes to makes jokes, likes to make people laugh, a prankster, humorist, or just a really fun person to be around.

What I like most about his movies

I like to watch his movies a few times, I always get a different reaction. Either I miss something the first time I see the film, or the nuance or timing feels different. I always walk away thinking I didn't remember that part get; something feels different each time I view it. He's like an everlasting gobstopper. Sometimes I'm in awe of his acting, othertimes its his ability to take control of the timing in the scene, his subtle maneuvers (extended pauses, mastery of the language) Hard to say... with him so many things to watch.

Lammy, why so negative? Are you practicing to audition for "Bride of Grinch?"

The Countess would have loved you if you said that to her, Quirky. She would have made it into a movie.

Seeing the laughing baldy I think it is safe to say she was only joking. I think she is gone now so I felt I should answer for her.
