hey. i dont know if anyone else noticed this, but the "blooper" section on this website has almost NOTHING to do with bloopers. when the editors miss something in a movie and a hat moves, or things suddenly dissapear, those are mistakes in editing. (eggs) they are NOT bloopers. bloopers are mistakes made while filming the movie, that are clear and often funny but they are never in the final cut of the film. they only make it onto blooper reels.
so unless you have video clips things that went wrong during the filming, such as Jim screwing up his lines, then you really should not have a blooper section on this site. thats all. spanks.

Well Tom, now that you've put things under such perspective, I will have no other choice but to remove the entire section from the site. Right now. Happy?

Actually, the errors you mention don't necessarily have to do solely with editing, but can be on-set continuity mistakes. Something that wasn't properly registered on the continuity book, and ended up slipping unnoticed until it was too late to fix it. For example, if it's something that has to do with wardrobe, it means that the Set Costumer did a sloppy job on that particular scene.

But really, the term "blooper" is many times times used indiscriminately to refer to all types of movie mistakes, so maybe, just maybe, we could be excused for it too, uh??

Mon

"Write a wise saying and your name will live forever."

- Anonymous
