Lol.......i won't put it past Mr. Handel....errrr i should say Mr. Snicket.

i think Count Olaf tries on last elaborate plan to get the orphans but fails and the orphans have to go on living on their own.

I keep forgeting, I have too many unfortuante events interspersing
in my life and I keep forgetting, maybe I'll remember around my
birthday, I have to go to the city to get this since there are very few
books stores in the country.

I started to read the books out of curiosity to see how closely the film portrayed them and found myself getting caught up in the whole series. I've enjoyed all the books and have waited with baited breath for the last one. But for me The End didnt live up to my expectations, I was hopeing for more of the loose ends to be tied and more secrets to be understood. I didnt want a happy 'hollywood ending' but we really only found out the fate of Count Olaf and who Beartrice was ! I think it could have been so much more. What did you think ?

well u might get more out of it if u read the un-authorized (or unoffical) biography of lemony snicket and the Beatrice Letters. it might help.

my feelings on the book were ok, i thought more of the secrets could have been told, since the book is over 300 pages. did the quagmires die, what was the question mark thing in the water, what was the end with olaf and kit snicket about, that was kinda of weird to me. it was nice that olaf got to be in a disguise again, since its been a few books since that has happen and it was a funny disguise.

i was over at reading what other people have said about the book, and i learned that there is going to be another book called: horseradish: bitter truths you can't avoid. it comes out next may. maybe it well have some answers that weren't answered.

me too! but in the last one he also said that there still would be things that you'll never know, kind of like the world! as much as you try to know everything, you never will, it's impossible. :D
