Its not his voice, its someone named Jude Law's voice, I just found out on
IMDb, but he IS credited as the screenwriter.

CJ, Daniel Handler is the author of the children's books which the movie is based on, and he is the real Lemony Snicket. He doesn't use his real name. I guess you knew that though.

Yes, I did....

but was Jude Law the shadow of Lemony in the beginning or maybe the shadow on the Lemoney site, but I know I've seen a shadow of him somewhere. Talking at the window at his typwriter, is this Daniel or Jude Law???

Ok, I'll have to listen to it again. I have heard Daniel's voice, because he did some cassettes of his stories in his voice. (the library has them). He did at least one book in his voice, and then hired someone else for the following books. Now I get what you were saying, because his voice isn't what you would imagine reading the books. I like him, even though his voice is kind of odd. He's from San Francisco, too.

It was a perfect voice that they used for the movie...

Very good choice, very calm and quiet.
Reflective, the voice gives the feeling or idea that he wishes he could
have been there to help, but also the dissappointment in himself that
he wasn't there in time to help.
Well done!

I have to say one thing about posting like this rather than chatting, for instance I was working on my post, while another person posted about Jim's hands, and I hadn't seen it. So, not every post is a response to the one before it. I just wanted to post a picture of Jude Law, and there was no connection.
