there were other movie DVDs which were stolen too including lemony snickets.

i guess the robber doesnt think what he is strealing & how much as long as he will be getting lot of money from stealing it.

i was honestly kidding. I have nothing against anyone on this board. i remember all these people in different countries complaining about Lemony Snicket taking such a long time to come out in these countries, and India was one of them. I just thought I'd playfully accuse someone. . . tease you Priya. plus you seemed to be the most excited that Lemony Snicket's movie was actually coming out in India. I know how they ban movies over there and you all don't get that. . . like Bruce Almighty, for instance. didn't that get banned in India because of "blasphemy"? I remeber it getting banned in a lot of places actually, but India was one of the places that really spoke out.

i really didn't mean to offend you Priya. It's just it's going to suck because you have to wait so long for the DVD and that's what the joke was. Someone from another country stole the DVD because of how long they have to wait for LS's ASOUE to come out on DVD.

well carreypunkrawker Bruce Almighty wasnt banned in India..it was released in India in October 2003 & it was a superhit here. I have the VCD of it & within a week all VCDs were sold out!! There are no cuts in the movie either & people welcomed the concept of this movie. India is liberal in religious thoughts.

the only asian countries where this movie was banned were middle east & malaysia..

India is in south asia.
