The alliance between Paramount Pictures and AFLAC marks the first ever marketing partnership between an insurance carrier and a film studio.

The Aflac spot's voiceover also plays on the title of the movie: "In a world where unfortunate events happen, it would be unfortunate not to have that insurance."

Do you like the AFLAC Duck?

Kinda cute -- I saw this on TV this morning too.

I'm actually kind of tired of all these corporate movie tie-ins. I want to enjoy the film, not be distracted by some sort of obvious product placement.
